INCEPTION AND JOURNEY

The seed of Professors’ Academy, Vile Parle was sown in 1986 by Shri A. W. Deshpande, the founder of Awade Classes and Prof. Sudhir Panse of Sathaye College, Vile Parle who came up with the idea of Test-series for 12th standard students.
In 1987 Mr. Vikas A. Deshpande took over the responsibility of conducting the Test-series.
In 1991 Mr. Vikas A. Deshpande also started the Test-series for 10th standard students of S.S.C. Board in the name of TEACHERS’ ACADEMY, VILE PARLE (T.A.V.P.). Since then he is the Director of Test-series of T.A.V.P. and PROFESSORS’ ACADEMY, VILE PARLE (P.A.V.P.) for 12th standard students.
The seed has germinated and grown into a full bloomed tree with branches all over Maharashtra.
These centres are run by dedicated persons and nurtured by teachers who put their heart and soul into this work focusing on the 3 Hs namely HEAD, HEART and HAND.
This journey has been a full-filling one with standard 10 & 12 (Science) as the main milestones of the board examinations in the life of students.
Today Teachers’ Academy, Vile Parle sets papers for both SSC and CBSE in all the subjects.
The main mantra for excellence in academies according to Mr. Vikas A. Deshpande is ‘REGULAR WRITING PRACTICE’ to reach the pinnacle of success.
